Few days back, Samsung announced their first ever Android Go phone. This device will not be a 100% stock experience as Samsung will always put a layer of their own UI on all of their phones running Android. The J2 core will be featuring the Android 8 Go version and not Android 9 Pie (Go edition).
The Specifications of this device are:
- 960 x 540 LCD
- an Exynos 7570 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB of storage
- 8-megapixel f/2.2 rear-facing camera
- 5-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera
- 2,600mAh battery
The Samsung Galaxy J2 core will definitely not support Fortnite, but it definitely will help the users to make the most out of the device, as Android Go is said to give the user more storage, and consume less battery and RAM.
The company has already started the sales of this device in India and Malaysia and will be making it available in other countries soon. Regarding the price, the Samsung Galaxy J2 which has better specifications than this device (Samsung Galaxy J2 core) sells at a little over Rs. 18,950 (LKR) / $118.22 so we can expect the a price ranging to around Rs. 14,500 (LKR) / $90 would be a quite a good price.
